With a BA in sculpture and MS in constructive design, artist Dru Nichols has exhibited extensively from Madison Avenue to Beverly Hills in a variety of media. Her passion for illustration sparked her most recent output, a coloring book called Fantasies, available on Amazon. Creating the coloring book was an artistic journey exploring drawing painting and coloring on an iPad.

In September 2014 she  set her self the task of  creating a portfolio of work using nothing other than the iPad. This website is a result of that project. Before starting this project, Dru worked in a medium called pique assiette,  which is a form of mosaics.

Dru’s work as a metalsmith was included in numerous gallery and museum shows, where she won awards and honors.

Her other recent drawings feature the Roaring 20s, flowers, portraits and mandalas. Mandalas have a long history in some Eastern religions as symbols representing the Universe. They may be used as meditation focal point, providing a sense of oneness with the Universe, or more simply put, to provide a calming experience. Because her artwork is entirely virtual, the size of the prints flexible.

All work is for sale, but print pricing depends upon size, paper thickness and framing. digital. Please contact me for pricing of all illustrations.
